Free Agency Begins!

Since we all have conflicting schedules, and the madness that is the NFL Playoffs dominating the weekends, we will be conducting our free agent period online via this blog.

Click HERE for the complete list of free agents.
- This page will show updated (to the best of my ability) bids on each player
- Players listed in black have yet to receive a bid
- Players listed in blue are in the midst of the bidding process
- Players listed in red have been signed
- Any contract offered for $5 or less, may only be for 1 year.
- Otherwise, the maximum contract length that may be offered is 4 years
- To outbid another manager, you must either increase the price or the number of years (max 4)

- No manager at any point may have active (winning bids) that exceed their available payroll. Any such further bids will be void.
- I will do my best to update the list but before bidding on a player be sure to check the comment section of THEIR Bid Book or the Best of the Rest Bid Book to ensure there isn't a more recent bid posted. Duplicate bids (although unfortunate) will be void.
- Once a player receives his first bid, it will open a 5 day period before his signing period expires (exactly 120 hours).
ie. Alex Rodriguez gets his first bid at 8:31 PM on Monday, his signing period will expire Saturday at 8:31 PM.
IF a player receives a bid WITHIN the last 12 hours before his signing period expires (example Alex Rodriguez gets a bid Saturday at 7:30 PM), the signing period will extend back to a full 12 hours. (example Alex Rodriguez's signing period now expires Sunday at 7:30 AM). This process will continue as many times as necessary until a full 12 hours have past without a bid. The player will then be signed to the highest bidder's contract and changed to a red font.

- You will notice the TOP 40 FREE AGENTS each have their own "bid book", so it will be easier for us to keep the comments sorted.
- I will be posting an additional "bid book" for ALL REMAINING FREE AGENTS (it might get a bit confusing, but there should be less demand for most of these players)
- bids will be placed in the COMMENT SECTION of the "Bid Book" and must be placed as follows:

ex. Alex Rodriguez, 2 years @ $20

Below the comment box, there is a drop down list called "Comment As:". Select Name/URL and enter your team's name (ie. WinOrLoseHitTheBooze) in the Name box and leave the URL box empty.

Please do not user player nicknames or short forms when entering bids and use your full team name as the "Comment As". Any incorrectly placed bids will be void upon Commissioner's discretion. Any manager found making false bids as other managers' will forfeit all free agent dollars and face further penalty.

Final Date and Time for Any Player to receive an initial bid: Sunday, January 31st @ 6:00 PM EST

After that date, any player without a bid will be declared ineligible and placed in the 2010 Entry Draft.

Any bid placed before 8:30 PM tonight, will be void.

As of 8:30 PM, let's rock and roll..

Any questions feel free to post in the comment box for this page or call The Commish.
