2. Dynasty Payroll Limit = $300
3. Maximum Roster Size = 50 (+disabled list and any prospects NOT in yahoo)
4. Maximum IP for the Regular Season = 1500 Playoffs = No Max
5. Triple-A Trades must be pending by 10 PM to be assured of being passed in time for the next day. Should you try to pass a Triple-A trade after 10 PM, kindly contact the commissioner and request for it to be passed (all requests will be accomodated IF possible).
6. Triple-A Trades are not allowed DURING playoff rounds, only the night before a new round starts. No adds are allowed once the playoffs begin.
7. Trade Deadline = August 15th
Contracts:
- Any players selected in a Tha Green Monster ENTRY DRAFT, may be signed to a maximum 2 year contract, regardless of their price.
- All other players:
- $5 or less - may only be signed to a maximum 2 year contract
- $6 or more - may be signed to a maximum 4 year contract
- When re-signing players: add the player's most recent MLB.com Player Value and his expiring contract price, then divide by two. If the average cost contains a decimal, always round up.
- Keeper Signings: are always due by 12:01 AM the day AFTER the regular season ends (for 2010 season Keeper Signings are due October 4th @ 12:01 AM).
Free Agency:
- Restricted Free Agent Deadline: September 1st - deadline to re-sign upcoming free agents before they are exposed to the Restricted Free Agency Period.
- Restricted Free Agency Period lasts September 1st - September 10th.
- Deadline to match offers to Restricted Free Agents is two weeks prior to the date the final keeper signings are due. For 2010, the Deadline to match offers to Restricted Free Agents will be September 20th @ 12:01 AM.
- Unrestricted Free Agency occurs after the final Keeper Signings have been submitted.
Trading Draft Picks:
- 1st round draft picks MAY NOT be traded prior to the start of the corresponding draft.
- Managers may only trade picks for the upcoming draft, not any subsequent years.
Rule/Roster Changes:
- May only be addressed in the offseason. Suggestions may be submitted to the commissioner or posted on the Yahoo League Message Board or on Tha Green Monster Blog Suggestions Page, and it will be up to the commissioner's discretion to decide if the rule/roster change(s) should be put to a league vote. If a league vote is necessary, 60% or 6 of 10 managers must vote in favour to approve a change.
Trade Review:
- All trades will pend for a full 2 days, and will be reviewed by the commissioner. Should any manager decide to challenge a trade, please post a message or contact the commissioner immediately, at which time a league vote will be proposed. Should 60% or 6 of 10 managers vote against a trade before the 2 full days of pending completes, the trade will be vetoed.
